수개월이 넘는 장기여행 등으로 패니어의 짐이 많아지면,자전거를 세워주는 킥스탠드가 외발일 때, 무게를 감당하지 못해 쓰러지거나 혹은 불안정해서 약간의 바람에도 쓰러지는 경우도 종종 있습니다.
최악의 경우, 킥스탠드가 휘어져 버려서 억지로 펴서 고쳐쓴 경우도 몇번이나 있었지요.
따라서 안정된 주차를 위해 두발 짜리 스탠드로 바꿔서 장착하고자 인터넷에서 적합한 제품을 검색해 본 결과 아래의 두 제품을 찾게 되었습니다.
아래 사진과 같이 제품 1은 체인스테이 튜브가 벌어지는 지점에 볼트를 끼워서 장착하는 방식이며, 제품 2는 일반적인 자전거의 다운 튜브에 걸어서 장착하는 방식입니다.

다운 튜브란게 존재하지 않으므로 토픽의 '플래쉬스탠드' 제품은 장착이 불가능함에 따라 '플레처' 더블 킥스탠드를 선택할 수 밖에 없었으며 토픽 제품보다 훨씬 더 하중을 견딜 수 있다고 합니다.
